Hello and welcome to my website. I always used to think my surname was an unusual one and not heard of very much. But after various searches on the Internet surprisingly there are quite a few Robus's dotted around the world. It was my Idea out of curiousity to get a rough Idea of actually how many Robus's can be found, what ages they are what occupations have they and what hobbies and interests we have - are we very different or very much the same?

To make it easier for other Robus's to get in contact with each other I have designed a Database and would like to ask you other Robus's all to participate and filling out your details giving as much information as you possibly can to make this a fun and informative website for other Robus's to view.

A company in Ireland Sell Electrical Products with the Brand Name ROBUS. The name ROBUS is plastered all over their Light Fittings, Hand Driers and Various other electrical Items and seen extensively in Shops, Restaurants & Hotels . (shame I havent got a share in the company though! - maybe we should start charging them for using our name on their products - Only Joking)

I just got news from the company and they said they used ROBUST as a brand name for their products but it didnt fit well on the packaging so they dropped the "T" - and there was me thinking there may have been a big story behind it all! (website: http://www.led.ie/ )
